Requirements

- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to use a respirator if needed as the position may be exposed to particulate levels at or exceeding the OSHA permissible exposure limit
- At least one-year maintenance experience in one or more of the following: injection molding, Compression Molding, Composite Molding and Roto Mold manufacturing environments.
Nice to have
- Basic to intermediate electrical training or experience with single and three phase electrical circuits up to 480 volts.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, job related internet research and ability to learn our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) for daily use.
- Functional knowledge of mechanical components (valves, pipe fittings, bearings, motors, gearboxes, etc.).
- Trade or vocational school degree
- Training/certification in operating electric or propane fueled forklift, scissor lift, boom lift.
- Driving cars, trucks, forklifts and other equipment
- Working around equipment and machinery
- Exposure to excessive noise
