About the role
- This is your opportunity to join a leading Global Mobility team as Senior Immigration Advisor (Canada).
- You will join a Canadian Immigration team of two (Advisor & Sr.
- Advisor), and report to a Senior Manager.
Responsibilities
- In this role you will be relied upon for Canadian immigration advice and support for Temporary Foreign Workers (TFW) employed by RBC.
- You will play an important role to act as a liaison between employees, business leaders, Human Resources, and legal counsel to effectively communicate advice, manage expectations, timelines and planning.
- Manage and update operational components of managing Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) population for North America, specifically for Canada leveraging technologies (i.e., Workday, ServiceNow, other).
- Educate Talent partners (HRBPs, Recruiters, ER) on changes or updates to TFW and Canadian immigration programs.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills and ability to provide practical advice and solutions that mitigate risk and drive business decisions forward.
Requirements
- Toronto - 200 Bay Street (3-4 days/week on site is required) What is the opportunity?
- Immigration Consultant (RCIC), Paralegal, LLB, or equivalent government/public policy experience with direct immigration case work is required.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is preferred; fluency in both languages is considered a strong asset for this role.
- Organized, detail orientation, business acumen and relationship management skills with ability to work and communicate at all levels of the organization is required.
