About the role

Responsibilities
- Conduct safety checks and support emergency drills and response procedures.
- Build positive relationships through responsive communication and excellent customer service.
- Support daily attendance, sign-in/sign-out procedures, and front desk operations.
- Assist students who need additional supervision, emotional support, or a break from activities.

- The Safety & Support Lead serves as the primary point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors during after-school programming.
- This role helps maintain a safe, welcoming environment by overseeing student release procedures, monitoring campus access, supporting emergency preparedness, and building positive relationships with families and school partners.
Requirements
- Must pass required background and TB clearances
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Available to work consistently during after-school hours throughout the school year.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to supporting diverse youth and families.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish, Chinese, or other languages)
Compensation
- Above is the pay range for this position that we reasonably expect to pay.
- Up to 15 paid holidays annually
