About the role
- BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB Food Service worker in the areas of: cashier, cafeteria server, patient trayline, porter/dishwasher, and relief.
- Sudden emergency situations have the potential for exposure to lifting or moving of up to 150 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate and timely inventory within assigned responsibility.
- Utilizes hospital resources and time respectfully and accountably. Manages time efficiently and is always contributing while on the job.

Requirements
- Heavy lifting, pushing and pulling is required up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20-30 lbs frequently and 10 lbs constantly to move objects of up to 150 lbs.
- Frequent bending, walking, sitting, squatting, reaching, and standing are required.
- Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
- License/Certification Required: None
Nice to have
- Food Services or related experience preferred.
- Minimum Work Experience: Food Services or related experience preferred.
Skills
- Individuals hired as a Porter under this title, have physical requirement of "C"; all other positions are "B".
- Must be willing to shave beard or wear beard guard.
Compensation
- $20k-$30k
