About the role
- You will be accountable for managing highly complex alliances throughout their lifecycle, driving joint governance, and ensuring successful partnership outcomes.
- Your responsibilities will include proactively identifying and resolving conflicts, designing alliances, and leading contract development in collaboration with Business Development.
- In this role, you will guide the organization on best practices for executing alliances at a world-class level and fit seamlessly into the overall business structure.
Responsibilities
- Drive alliance design and strategy for post-deal readiness activities, establishing guiding principles, governance structure, and alliance score cards.
- Act as the expert on alliance contracts, developing and amending contracts in collaboration with Business Development, and manage non-financial amendments.
- Oversee alliance governance, including partner alignment, internal preparation, and tracking outcomes, managing stakeholder relationships at the executive level.
- Build expertise in partner capabilities, culture, deal structure, and derisking strategies, while representing the alliance's voice with stakeholders.
- Guide on tools and best practices for best-in-class alliance execution and deliver partnering and cultural sensitivity training.
Requirements
- You are a self-motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- 15+ years of experience in Life Sciences Alliance Management, Research, Development, or Commercial areas required.
- Advanced degree may be substituted for experience, as appropriate.

- Expertise in alliance contracts with a proven track record of translating contracts into actionable plans.
- Ability to influence senior-level stakeholders and impact business outcomes.
- Proactively identify and solve complex problems using innovative methods beyond existing solutions.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary projects and providing thought leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive audiences.
- Required Experience:
- Adjacent experience in Finance, Business Development, Strategy, and Manufacturing is strongly considered.
- Healthcare consulting experience is strongly considered.
- Proven track record as an individual contributor in a matrixed organization, leading cross-functional projects.

- The base compensation range for this role is: $230,000.00-$316,000.00
