About the role
- Key tasks include configuring and managing workstations, laptops, and peripherals, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and coordinating with vendors.
- The role also involves user training, managing service requests, and supporting mobile devices.
Responsibilities
- Familiarity with Cisco IP Phones configuration and support
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with users and vendors
Requirements
- Proficiency in Active Directory for user and device management
- Experience with VPN and authentication tools (e.g., MobilePASS)
- Proficiency with help desk ticketing systems and service request management
Nice to have
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- or equivalent professional experience
- 2-4 years of experience in desktop support or technical help desk roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on customer service
- Office presence in Mississauga, where our office is located
- English proficiency is a must, French is a plus

- Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and peripherals (Tier 2/3)
- Configure and deploy workstations, laptops, and peripherals following defined imaging processes
- Install and set up end-user devices and related IT equipment
- Coordinate with third-party vendors (orders, warranties, projects, vendor management)
- Define and audit asset management tools and processes (physical and electronic)
- Ensure cost visibility for service requests and compliance with approval processes
- Manage IT assets, including tracking, identification, and control
- Provide help desk support as needed
- Execute lifecycle upgrades and assigned IT projects
Compensation
- For Canada, the base pay range for this position is $55,000 - $78,000 CAD $ (highly experienced).
