About the role
- LEK Technology Group is seeking a Level 2-3 Install Technician to support field installations of access control, CCTV, and structured cabling systems.
- This role works under the direction of a Project Manager and or Lead Technician and is ideal for technicians with hands‑on low‑voltage experience who are looking to grow their skills in the security and access control space.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily on‑site installation activities as directed by the Project Manager or Lead Technician
- Install and support:
- Maintain jobsite safety and follow LEK installation standards
- Support Lead Technicians with system installations and testing
Nice to have
- Access control systems (controllers, readers, locks, power supplies)
- CCTV systems (IP and analog, including cloud‑managed platforms)
- Structured cabling systems (copper and fiber)
- Install and configure door controllers, readers, electrified hardware, and power supplies
- Assist with troubleshooting low‑voltage cabling, PoE, and basic network connectivity issues
- Terminate and test copper and fiber cabling
- 2+ years of low‑voltage or security system experience
- Prior low‑voltage and cabling installation experience
