About the role
- This role is responsible for the supervision and coordination of activities within a designated value stream.
- Join us as we continue to grow in making the world a safer place.
- Production hours are Monday to Thursday, 5:30 am to 4 pm.
Responsibilities
- This role involves overseeing daily operations, leading a team, and implementing continuous improvement strategies to optimize processes and deliver high-quality products or services.
- This position would support production hours as well as overtime hours on Fridays as needed.
- Implement Lean or Agile principles to optimize processes within the value stream.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
- Implement corrective actions and preventive measures as necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations within the value stream.
- Support the professional development of team members.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing or operational setting.
- Required Skills and Abilities:
- The ideal candidate must possess the following
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Familiarity with Lean or Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and implement data-driven solutions.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices.
