Responsibilities
- As a Port Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring our boats meet United States Coast Guard regulations as well as Ingram's own high standards.
- This role involves managing multiple projects, providing excellent customer support, solving complex engineering issues, supporting vessel crews, and working in a variety of outdoor environments.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of related experience
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Proven leadership skills
- Working knowledge of engines, gears, generators, hydraulics, basic electrical
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Must have the ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Must have creative problem-solving skills
- Must have the ability to trouble shoot and resolve problems remotely
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with vessel crew, operations, safety, vendors, and USCG
Compensation
- Conducting annual performance evaluations with vessel engineers
