About the role
- As a key member of StickerYou's growing Development Department, we're looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer.
- This person will report directly to the VP of Technology & Digital Products.
- This person will be challenged to use their critical thinking and problem-solving skills to come up with creative solutions that improve the user experience across all channels.
Responsibilities
- Craft the overall user experience strategy, design system, and content architecture for the site
- Create end-to-end designs including low-fidelity user interface sketches/wireframes through to high-fidelity pixel perfect visual design mockups and prototypes
- Monitor analytics on user behaviour and site performance, continuously seeking opportunities to deliver a superior and higher converting experience
- Apply user-centered design best practices and methodologies as well as mobile-first/responsive design thinking
- You communicate openly, timely and in a clear manner any issue with your manager, co-workers and anyone else who needs or uses the information you manage.
- Support growth and help expand a global Canadian brand
Requirements
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Design, User Experience or a related field
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across departments
- Knowledge of printing industry considered an asset
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field is an asset
- High Standards: You are organized and self-motivated.
- You are eager to expand your knowledge of accounting and our operations.
- You are able to communicate and balance tight deadlines and tasks from multiple departments without sacrificing quality.
- Experience with cutting edge e-commerce and customization technology
- 5+ years in UX Design, Digital Product Design or Visual/UI design
- A strong portfolio of projects which demonstrate creative, user-centered design solutions to complex problems, especially in an e-commerce context
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to take responsibility for design of solutions from concept to completion
- Proficient and effective use of industry-standard UX and UI design tools, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite and XD and UXPin
- Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS capabilities and limitations
