About the role

Responsibilities
- Manage subordinate supervisors who supervise team members in the plant; carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies and applicable laws; interview hire and train team members; plan assign and direct work; monitor and appraise work performance; reward coach counsel and discipline team members; address complaints and resolve problems.
Requirements
- Must be capable of communicating well both verbally and in writing with all levels of Team Members from hourly to upper management as well as government officials.
- Ability to work with department heads to meet safety production and quality yields and meet goals.
- The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Nice to have
- 5 plus years of related industry
- 5 plus years supervisory experience in a meat processing facility pork or beef preferred
- and knowledge of OSHA USDA and HAACP regulations.
- High School diploma with equivalent experience or college degree preferred.
