Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will strategize, implement, and optimize data accuracy, availability and freshness to enhance customer workflows and expand our product's capabilities.
  • As our Senior Product Manager, Data, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deeply understand customer needs, prioritize impactful features, and work closely with engineering and data scientists to deliver high-quality datasets.
  • You will play a crucial role in ensuring Grata's data adheres to Grata's data quality standards, maintain reliability, and scale effectively with the evolving needs of our growing business.

  • Build a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and behaviors by partnering with commercial teams and conducting user research and data analysis
  • Develop strategic roadmaps with clear milestones and measurable metrics to achieve ambitious goals and track progress effectively
  • Prioritize initiatives ruthlessly using a data-driven approach to maximize impact and deliver customer value
  • Craft detailed requirements informed by customer conversations, usage data analysis, and iterative feedback from design and engineering teams
  • Establish yourself as the go-to expert and trusted leader for the product area, building credibility through ownership and results
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders, distilling complex ideas into clear insights that drive alignment across the organization

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Experience in a prior start-up or high-ambiguity environment
  • a track record of managing ambiguity and complexity affecting many stakeholders in an organized and structured way
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tools (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Airflow, dbt) and how they shape what's feasible for the product
  • Ability to translate complex data concepts into clear product requirements and roadmaps that scale with the business
  • The ideal candidate is also deeply customer-obsessed, ensuring that their work consistently aligns with and addresses customer needs.

Nice to have

  • Comfortable working hands-on with data to inform product decisions - able to write SQL and analyze datasets (familiarity with Python or R a plus)
