About the role
- Reviewing and validating school account configurations in Clarity, identifying setup errors and edge cases before they cause downstream problems.
- Advising schools on the correct accounting treatment for their specific situation and, when needed, helping them recognize when their current approach is wrong.
- Supporting monthly account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies for school clients.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Vice President of Client Experience, you will help schools maintain accurate financial records and successfully manage their accounting workflows using Clarity software.
- Building the playbooks, documentation, and repeatable processes that let us scale this function - including identifying what should be handled by CSMs.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure where none exists yet.
Requirements
- Ideal Candidate Requirements A current CPA license in good standing is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, bookkeeping, outsourced accounting services, or a related accounting profession.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar financial systems.
