About the role
- You will be responsible for architecting and implementing the platform layer (Bootloader through system software) on a large scale embedded system.
- This will also include image and software lifecycle management - packaging, upgrades, high availability, and telemetry/debug infrastructure.

- You will have the opportunity to design and implement the system from the ground up.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience working with the Linux Kernel, drivers, and platform bring-up
- Experience working with HW vendors on requirements and specifications
- Experience with SW lifecycle management (packaging, upgrades, etc.) on an embedded system
- Experience with k8s, Helm charts, Ansible, and other cloud orchestration technologies
- Experience with bare-metal provisioning technologies (DHCP, PXE, IPMI)
- Experience with SELinux policy creation and tuning
- Experience deploying observability and metrics stacks
Nice to have
- FIPS and CC certification experience is a plus
- Rust programming experience is a plus
