About the role
- The role operates under moderate supervision and contributes to process efficiency, quality control, and service level agreements within a shared service or offshore operations model.
Responsibilities
- Review underwriting instructions and prepare policy documents accurately according to established guidelines.
- Collaborate with onshore teams to resolve discrepancies and fulfill document requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update policy records in core processing systems to ensure data integrity.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps or inefficiencies.
Requirements

Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in insurance policy processing, issuance, or related operational support roles.
- Familiarity with property and casualty insurance products and terminology.
- Experience working in shared services, BPO, or offshore delivery environments is beneficial.
Skills
- Proficiency in policy administration systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret and apply underwriting instructions and guidelines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working across distributed teams.
- Time management and organizational skills to meet SLAs and multiple priorities.
- Problem-solving aptitude to address discrepancies or data issues promptly.
