About the role

  • The role operates under moderate supervision and contributes to process efficiency, quality control, and service level agreements within a shared service or offshore operations model.

Responsibilities

  • Review underwriting instructions and prepare policy documents accurately according to established guidelines.
  • Collaborate with onshore teams to resolve discrepancies and fulfill document requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update policy records in core processing systems to ensure data integrity.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps or inefficiencies.

Requirements

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in insurance policy processing, issuance, or related operational support roles.
  • Familiarity with property and casualty insurance products and terminology.
  • Experience working in shared services, BPO, or offshore delivery environments is beneficial.

Skills

  • Proficiency in policy administration systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to interpret and apply underwriting instructions and guidelines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working across distributed teams.
  • Time management and organizational skills to meet SLAs and multiple priorities.
  • Problem-solving aptitude to address discrepancies or data issues promptly.
