Responsibilities

  • Utilize Python to build developer tools and automate complex engineering tasks, and support ML experimentation workflows, improving the overall efficiency of the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with senior software engineers to integrate new imaging features into existing projects and contribute to technical architectural discussions.

Requirements

  • Qualifications Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with interest in imaging, video, or signal processing.
  • Experience with C and C++ fundamentals, including system‑level programming, memory management, and data structures.

Nice to have

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program MS or PhD degrees in CS, EE, or a related field.
  • Candidates with a Bachelor's degree will be considered if they demonstrate strong, verifiable hands-on experience directly relevant to imaging and video processing.
  • Must be available to work at least 3 days a week in office between September 2026 - February 2027.
  • A portfolio of projects (academic, open-source, or professional) that serves as a verifiable endorsement of your development skills in imaging or multimedia.
  • Self-motivated quick learner who can independently bridge the gap between theoretical algorithms and practical software implementation.
  • Development skills in Python, particularly for ML experimentation, automation scripts, image/video processing pipelines.
  • Familiarity with image/video quality metrics or perceptual quality assessment methodologies is a significant plus.
  • Experience utilizing AI coding assistants or Large Language Models to solve engineering challenges or improve coding productivity is a significant plus.

Compensation

  • $50k-$55k
