About the role

  • Silvus is seeking a Production Material Handler who will report to the Production Manager on the Production Team.
  • The successful individual in this role will play a key role in maintaining smooth production flow by managing the movement, tracking, and administrative handling of materials between Production, Supply Chain, Stockroom, Quality, and Shipping Departments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily material delivery and pickup between the Stockroom, Production stations, Quality, and Shipping areas.
  • Support Production by ushering electronic materials, bins, and ESD bags between suites and stations throughout the facility.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movements and transactions in the system.
  • Support inventory accuracy through participation in weekly cycle counts, month-end and year-end physical inventory counts and audits.
  • Assist in other production support or logistics duties as assigned by Production leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse experience, with a preference for handling electronic components, printed circuit board assemblies, and accessories.
  • Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. when receiving incoming part shipments.
