  • Demonstrated experience teaching both lecture and laboratory courses.
  • Evidence of effective teaching, such as student evaluations, peer observations, sample materials, or similar documentation.

Compensation

  • Wentworth Institute of Technology is committed to fair, transparent, and legally compliant compensation practices.
  • We believe that clarity about pay structures and ranges supports equity, fosters trust, and ensures a positive workplace for all employees.
  • It is expected that the salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $81,600.
  • Wentworth uses a three-semester per year schedule.
  • The faculty contracts are for two semesters (fall and spring) with optional summer teaching, which is paid on a prorated basis of the provided two-semester salary.
  • This means the annual compensation could reach 1.5 times the provided two-semester salary, depending on the availability of summer classes.

Benefits

  • The range does not include any salary stipend from a named-professorship.
  • This position comes with a 10% retirement contribution (no matching required) according to the current Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Wentworth Faculty Federation.
