About the role

  • Weber Shandwick is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Project Manager to join our Integrated Project Management team in Washington, D.C. In this role, you'll be the central leader driving our most complex and ambitious campaigns forward.
  • This position will be based in our Washington, D.C. office on a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Project Leadership: Lead the entire project lifecycle - from brief to delivery - for large-scale, complex integrated campaigns, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with client objectives.
  • Strategic Scope and Resource Management: Develop and manage detailed project SOWs, staff plans, and resource allocations. Serve as a key partner in defining project approaches, proactively managing scope creep, and ensuring the right talent is on the job.
  • Timeline and Risk Mitigation: Create, maintain, and communicate accurate project timelines, identifying and escalating risks with proposed solutions to keep high-stakes projects on track.
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Serve as the senior integration point for cross-functional teams (Creative, Strategy, Paid Media, Analytics, and Account Management) to deliver cohesive, best-in-class solutions.
  • Team and Process Development: Actively mentor and develop junior project managers and interns, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability. Contribute to the evolution of our project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale, complex integrated campaigns from start to finish, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams (creative, digital, PR, paid media, strategy).
  • Deep financial acumen with hands-on experience developing and managing multi-faceted SOWs, burn reports, staffing plans, and resource allocation.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of progressive project management experience, preferably in an agency or integrated marketing environment.
  • Proficiency with modern project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Monday.com, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Marketing, Business).
  • Critical Thinking & Foresight: Ability to ask probing questions to anticipate and address gaps before they become issues.

Compensation

  • $90,000 USD - $110,000 USD
  • Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position
