About the role
- Overnights: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM (40 hours/week)
- The Full-Time Overnight Custodian plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone who enters Central Church. This position supports ministry by ensuring our buildings, restrooms, common areas, and event spaces are cared for with excellence, consistency, and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of entryways and high-traffic areas throughout shift
- Room Setup & Event Support
- Support weekend services by keeping restrooms and common spaces clean and stocked
- Facility Care & Maintenance Support
- Monitor building for safety hazards and report concerns immediately
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety practices
- Experience with floor care equipment (buffers, scrubbers, etc.)

- Cleaning & Sanitation
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, offices, hallways, classrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces daily
- Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners
- Clean glass, windows, mirrors, and doors
