About the role

Responsibilities

- Binnie is looking for a Project Engineer to join our Transportation Major Projects Division, which provides Owner's Engineer services for the design and procurement of major infrastructure projects in British Columbia.
- You will carry out design work on projects from conceptual level through to detailed design and construction.
- Preparing design drawings using AutoCAD or Civil3D

Requirements
- Completed Degree in Civil Engineering
- 0-1+years of related experience in a professional engineering environment
- Ability to interpret construction and specifications, along with general problem solving skills
- Sound working knowledge of AutoCAD and Cvil3D
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, other consultants and contractors
- Ability to work cooperatively and productively in a team environment
- Ability to consistently maintain a high degree of accuracy and quality in work
Nice to have
- Previous experience in civil engineering environment is preferred
Skills
- Strong written communication skills including technical report writing
Compensation
- The salary for this position is commensurate with experience; the salary range for this position is $70,015 - $99,100 annually.
- The final salary for this role may vary based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
