About the role

The Clinician II will provide clinical services to clients in the outpatient mental health clinic.
The role will serve individuals with co-occurring disorders.
Clinician II also provides group treatment services using evidence-based practices, as needed.

Maintains client and program records in accordance with agency requirements and timelines.
Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field.
The Clinician will identify and utilize the client's strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences in completing assessments and developing individualized service plans.

Assist in all reporting as required by supervisors.
Attending all training and professional development opportunities as required.
Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field required.

Spanish strongly preferred.
Familiarity with working in a strength-based, trauma-informed environment.
Knowledge of appropriate community resources.
Knowledge of the issues affecting people with HIV/AIDS in recovery from substance use/alcoholism.
Experience with individuals dealing with homelessness, mental illness, domestic violence, and the criminal justice system.
Experienced in crisis management and intervention.
Experience providing individual, family, and group interventions to the target population.
Strong verbal/written communication.

About the role The Clinician II will provide clinical services to clients in the outpatient mental health clinic.
Client Care Provide individual therapy, couple therapy, and family therapy Provides crisis intervention counseling, with referrals to ongoing mental health services when needed.
Functions as a resource to the rest of the team on mental health-related issues and assists in the various components of this program.
Assist with utilization management, which includes assessing the appropriateness, effectiveness, and medical need for services.
Flexible Schedule-4- or 5-day workweeks; day and evening hours available ***Saturdays from 9am to 1pm (As per program needs).
