About the role

  • The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations at the Holiday Inn Columbia East, MO.
  • This includes managing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, driving profitability, and leading all departments with a focus on operational excellence, brand standards, employee engagement, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to develop and execute strategic plans to grow market share.
  • Team Management Recruit, train, motivate, and develop department heads and hotel staff.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hotel management experience, including 2+ years as a General Manager.
  • Proven leadership in managing hotel operations and delivering results.
  • Maintain positive relationships with IHG representatives and participate in required brand initiatives.

Nice to have

  • Experience with IHG brand hotels preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
