About the role

The JFK School of Law at National University invites applications for part-time Pre-Law and Paralegal Studies faculty.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of, or potential for excellence in, teaching and a commitment to serving the University's diverse student body.
In addition to teaching responsibilities, this position will work closely with the Academic Program Director and other faculty within the programs to ensure academic quality, and student engagement and success.

Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services to provide support as needed.
Maintain appropriate professional training and/or scholarly activities, where applicable.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Complete required tasks by the stated deadlines (e.g., final grades, assessment, grading rubrics, input for grade appeals, etc.).
Minimum of five years of legal practice experience.
Proficiency in the use of technology in the delivery of education.

Teaching experience with favorable student evaluations, preferably in the areas of legal research and writing, criminal law, and legal technology, however, all legal subject areas will be considered.
Experience with online teaching and the systems that support it.
Curriculum development experience.
