About the role
- As a Zeeco accountant, you'll have a solid foundation in accounting (that's a must!), but you'll also be motivated by process improvement, thinking outside of the box, and trying new things.
- You'll come with a fresh perspective and new ideas.
- You're someone who can reconcile accounts one day and improve org health the next.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger and tie-out to the sub-ledgers monthly
- Compile and review trial balances, financial statements, and other accounting documents
- Perform full-cycle purchase card reconciliations and fleet invoicing reviews
- Manage commissions process for internal and external sales reps
- Develop spreadsheet reports and field ad hoc requests
- Expert Excel skills and ability to create/use spreadsheets with multiple functions
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Strong analytical skill set with ability to defend position with logical reasoning
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel/Word/Power Point/Outlook
- A high sense of urgency, strong initiative, and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently with limited instruction
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or similar), or equivalent experience
Nice to have
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL, Crystal Reports, Workday, and Concur
- A plus if you have:
