About the role

  • Approximately 80% of this role focuses on financial management, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, grant compliance, audit coordination, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain vendor records, W-9's, and supporting documentation.
  • Manage cash receipts processing and revenue recording
  • Support monthly credit card reconciliations.
  • Maintain electronic financial files and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts, including prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, deferred revenues and other general ledger accounts. Support monthly and year-end close activities.
  • Support in preparing monthly departmental financial reports.
  • Support in preparing quarterly financial reports for management, committees, and the Board of Directors.
  • Maintain grant files and supporting documentation.

Nice to have

  • Process accounts payable transactions through Bill.com and other financial systems.
  • Review invoices and supporting documentation for completeness and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Assist with cash receipts processing and revenue tracking.
  • Assist with expense allocations and coding.
  • Prepare journal entries as assigned.
  • Reconciliations & Month-End Close
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts, including prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, deferred revenues and other general ledger accounts.

Skills

  • Maintain financial dashboards and management reporting tools.

Compensation

  • The expected salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000, with eligibility for performance-based bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and alignment with the qualifications and attributes of the role.
  • Support annual budget development and forecasting processes.
