Responsibilities
- Manage all programmatic aspects of multiple assigned projects, focusing on customer relationships, cost, schedule, and technical planning.
- Formulate and lead a team to fulfill program requirements.
- Manage program risks and opportunities by identifying, mitigating, tracking, and managing them.
- Interface on project/program status and develop proposals.
- Support the Program Director and Business Operations in fulfilling their responsibilities for the Business Area.
- Perform task coordination, resource development, stakeholder identification, etc.
- Capability to manage program lifecycle conflicts, prioritize competing priorities/requests, and evaluate available resources.
- Requires ability to manage complex situations, delegate authority, lead and inspire your team, drive innovative thinking, instill collaboration, drive for success, challenge status quo, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to dynamic situations.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related field.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in project or program management in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry.
- Direct experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and responsibly utilize enterprise-approved Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance program management execution.
- 1+ years' experience leading teams made up of 3+ cross functional team members.
- In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 9 years of related experience is required.
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Experience with the evaluation of requests for proposals and/or quotes.
- Experience with preparing, reviewing, and submitting proposals and/or quotes.
- Experience with contract negotiations, and the difference in contract types.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (will not be considered in lieu of required experience).
- Direct experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) on DCMA‑administered contracts
- Hands‑on experience with aircraft modification programs, including familiarity with engineering change processes, airworthiness impacts, configuration management, certification considerations, and coordination across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Experience supporting or managing flight sciences activities, such as aerodynamics, performance, loads, structures, handling qualities, or flight test integration, with the ability to bridge technical inputs into cost, schedule, and risk‑based program decisions.
- Proven ability to manage subcontracts for both services and hardware.
- Advanced degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related field (may be considered in lieu of 1 year of required project/program management experience).
- Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
- Working knowledge of Program Management Institute Program Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
- Managing projects using Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), agile, and or spiral development models.
- Familiarity with projects requiring Earned Value Management.
Compensation
- $124,771.42 - $171,560.71.
- SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
- Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
