Responsibilities
- AECOM is actively seeking a self-driven and motivated Transportation Program Executive with extensive experience to serve as the VP, Program Management Consultant Lead in New Jersey and New York.
- The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career with program, design, and construction management in Transportation, specifically Transit Rail, Highway Bridge and Heavy Civil (Underground) Construction in the New York Metro market.
- This Vice President level position will report to the NY Metro Transportation Lead.
- Directs and manages the entire project through all phases
- Lead issue detection and resolution
- Confirms compliance with all facets of the project including commercial, design and construction
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and community representatives
- Implement and oversee a comprehensive risk management strategy for the project
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve project efficiency and outcomes
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Requirements
- Due to the projects associated with this position a US Citizenship is required
- 20 years of experience in both design and construction management
- Experience with similar size projects, including those with aggressive schedules and comprehensive community information programs
- Experience in managing work, scope, budgets and schedules
- Ability to work within a paperless environment
- Experience working with NY and NJ Transportation clients
