- We currently serve 952 students across three campuses, and continue to grow our enrollment each year.
Responsibilities
- Under general supervision of the Site Manager and After School Staff, performs a variety of duties related to supporting K-4 students at one of our Lower School Campuses.
- Assist students with homework assignments and offer academic support as needed.
- Maintain positive relationships with students and their families.
- Help foster a safe environment that allows students to form close, durable human relationships with peers that support and reinforce healthy behaviors.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- At least 1-2 years prior experience working with youth and/or teens
- ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of students, colleagues, and families
- Required
- Preferred
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic Chinese (Mandarin) Language skills
- Certified in CPR and First Aid, or be certified within 30 days of hire
- Demonstrated awareness of, sensitivity to, and competence in working with families from culturally and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds
- Superb interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to change
- ability to work in a dynamic, creative, and start-up learning environment
- Driven adult learner dedicated to his or her own professional growth, including learning new and innovative teaching practices

Compensation
- Hourly rate commensurate with experience, within the range of $17.50-19/hour.
