About the role
- The Client Portal team shapes how clients engage with EvenUp's platform - building the integration architecture and user experiences that drive customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
- This team owns our APIs and the integration engine at the heart of the portal.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers through architectural decisions, career growth, and best practices
- Own the technical direction for the Client Portal - designing extensible architecture and driving execution across the full SDLC
- Partner with product and design to deliver performant, intuitive user experiences
- Work closely with product, legal, and operations to prioritize user needs and deliver high-impact solutions
- Up-level the team through hands-on support in architecture and complex problem-solving
- Experience building complex SaaS solutions, scalable web portals, resilient public APIs, and multi-system integrations
Requirements
- 4+ years of engineering management experience with a strong track record of hiring, mentoring, and developing engineers
- Strong understanding of scalability, performance, and security
