About the role

  • This position works with the Facilities Department and team providing maintenance, repairs, remodels, and general construction for all the buildings and grounds.
  • This work will be performed at both Glen Eyrie and Eagle Lake.
  • Up to 15 paid holidays per year, accumulating PTO (vacation, sick, personal).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all equipment and tools used on the job
  • Lead volunteers in general maintenance and construction projects. Providing direction and leadership as needed for a variety of group sizes.
  • Minimum experience of 6 years in construction, building maintenance, and electrical
  • Could include general grounds maintenance - This support will be as needed which may include, mowing, edging, aeration, fertilization, and installation/repair of automatic and manual irrigation systems.
  • Support and work on locks and e-lock systems; wall repairs - drywall-plaster-stucco

  • Prefer 3 years running medium to heavy equipment
  • People skills required
  • possess the ability to work well with others.
  • Good communication, organization and planning skills required.

Compensation

  • Participate in the annual, organizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR) process.
