About the role
- This role is responsible for ensuring accurate product costing, inventory valuation, operational financial analysis, and strong internal controls across manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain operations.
- The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance leader with deep expertise in standard costing, inventory processes, ERP systems, and cross-functional business partnership.
- You will report to the Group Controller and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, NC.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of actual costing and inventory valuation processes.
- Develop and maintain accurate product cost models, including labor, material, and overhead allocations.
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve cost visibility and operational efficiency.
- Establish and maintain strong SOX/internal controls over inventory and costing processes.
- Lead inventory audit support activities and coordinate with external auditors.
- Deliver inventory and cost-related KPIs, dashboards, and operational analytics to leadership.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, FP&A, and supply chain leadership.
- Support ERP implementations, system enhancements, and automation initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across inventory and costing processes.
Requirements
- C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, or manufacturing finance.
- Strong knowledge of inventory costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing accounting.
- Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, industrial, or related industries.
- Multi-site or global manufacturing environments preferred.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems such as Visual, Syteline and Epicor.
- Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal control frameworks preferred.
- Experience leading ERP implementations or finance transformation initiatives preferred.
Compensation
