About the role

  • This role is responsible for preparing high-quality bakery and pastry items-including breakfast pastries, cakes, frostings, fondant decorations, cookies, amenities, and special-order items-with excellence and creativity.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the correct use, care, and maintenance of all pastry equipment and tools; operate all equipment safely and only as intended.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including verbal & written, to create understanding and build strong working relationships required.
  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Nice to have

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Pastry Cook is required
  • culinary training or apprenticeship certification is preferred, and a valid food handling certificate is required.
