About the role
- You will be responsible for creating innovative, scalable, and high-performing software solutions that meet both the needs of our customers and the company's strategic objectives.
- You will also work directly with sales and marketing on forward leaning prototypes that will help shape the future product and infrastructure roadmaps of Thread AI and our customers.
Responsibilities
- Thread AI is focused on building an AI-native workflow orchestration engine looking for dedicated individuals to join its growing team.
- We're a small and committed technical team that oversees engineering, research, design, product, and operations.
- We believe that a small dedicated team with a flat structure and collaborative culture can move faster and build better products than large hierarchical organizations.
- On a daily basis, you will build end-to-end customer workflows, take them to production, and solve real world problems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of strong engineering background with a focus on delivering production AI workflows with experience in data processing pipelines and advanced analytics tools
- Strong coder with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar
- Experience with database systems (SQL/NoSQL, embeddings) and data storage solutions.
- Work experience with software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
- Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national or U.S. lawful, permanent resident.
Skills
- Experience working with AI/ML tools and products, with an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the technologies
Compensation
- $145,000 - $200,000 + Equity
- Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national or U.S. lawful, permanent resident.
- This is a full-time, in-person position based at our New York City office.
