About the role
- In this role, you will follow the Substance Use Disorder Program guidelines to plan care, assess client needs, and complete screenings.
- You will also refer clients to appropriate resources and coordinate with the Substance Use Disorder Program team, primary care providers, managed care organizations, and community agencies to provide high-quality care.
- Pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications.
Responsibilities
- Peer Recovery/Support Specialists serve as role models for individuals facing substance-exposed living and those in various phases of recovery.
- Providing support to members through a variety of settings and assisting with support groups, as needed.
Requirements
- You are caring and compassionate, with a passion for helping individuals facing substance-exposed living make positive changes in their lives.
- You have strong organizational skills and a talent for problem-solving.
- We launched Mindoula because each of us has had personal experience with mental illness, either directly or through a loved one.
Compensation
- The salary for this position ranges from $43,000 to $46,000 a year / $20.67 to $22.12 per hour.
- Pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications.
- In addition to your salary, Mindoula offers a comprehensive benefits package.
