About the role
- AspenTech is a fast-paced, growing, high technology company, headquartered in Medina, Minnesota.
- In this position, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of customer projects, ensuring achievement of project objectives, customer satisfaction, and business goals.
- As a Senior Project Manager, you will be accountable for project execution, financial tracking, schedule management, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of complex technical customer projects with significant operational and business impact.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource requirements to ensure successful delivery.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer stakeholders, project sponsors, and internal teams.
- Manage project change requests and ensure appropriate alignment between customer requirements and project delivery.
- Support project estimating, project reviews, delivery planning, and implementation strategy discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of project management experience leading customer-facing projects.
- Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, schedules, risk management, and change control processes.
- Experience coordinating technical project activities and managing competing priorities.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies, including Microsoft Project and PERT/CPM.
Nice to have
- PMP certification.
- Experience in electrical utility, SCADA, automation, or energy industries.
- Experience managing customer-facing software, technology, or implementation projects.
- Experience supporting project estimates, proposals, and delivery planning activities.
- Ability to work effectively across geographically dispersed teams.
- Track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
Compensation
- The salary range for this role is $87,700.00 - $109,600.00.
