About the role
- DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Assess patient and family needs to provide quality care to assigned patients during patient interview.
- Work closely with the anesthesia provider to pre-screen patients with health concerns by sharing lab results, physical assessment, or special needs of individuals with medical issues prior to the date of surgery.
- Evaluate and reassess the identified issues, care provided, and patient's responses to meet patient, and family needs to ensure overall quality of care delivered.
Responsibilities
- Develop, discuss, and communicate a realistic plan of care for each patient, in collaboration with each patient, family, and significant other to address all identified needs during the preadmission process.
- Thoroughly document all call encounters utilizing manual and/or online information systems at the time of the call Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current RN license in appropriate State Minimum of two years nursing experience BLS,
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree ASC experience
