About the role
- Albemarle is hiring for a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager.
- This position is in-office and located in Silver Peak, Nevada.
- The HSE Manager will fill a key role for operational leaders at the Silver Peak Site Lithium Mine and processing plant.
Responsibilities
- Lead the site HSE training programs to ensure they are current and effective.
- Develop and manage NA safety training program to achieve compliance with MSHA and OSHA standards, where applicable, including schedule, content, and delivery.
- Lead or delegate HSE improvement projects
- Lead or delegate HSE related investigations.
- Perform safety related reporting for internal and external audiences
- A diverse array of resources to support you professionally and personally.
Requirements
- 5+ years of chemical manufacturing, petroleum industry or mining experience in Safety Program Management
- B.S. Technical Degree
- Experience in safety compliance auditing.
- Experience in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of safety systems, processes, and procedures.
