- The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded technician! with hands-on experience in multiple trades and a proactive mindset toward preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
- Complete and manage work orders through the campus CMMS system.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3-5 years of experience in a facilities or maintenance-related role.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proficiency with standard tools.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.), and work from ladders or in confined spaces.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with various departments and stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Exposure to noise, vibrations, chemicals, and confined spaces is common.
- Must be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks including bending, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and climbing.
