About the role

Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network.
In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week.
These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.

Pitch story ideas, develop sources, work with Producers and Assignment Planners to plan future content.
Perform other duties as assigned.

We want someone with traditional television skills AND the ability to stream.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a deep understanding of digital-first news production.
You are digitally native, technically confident, and polished on camera.
You have strong news judgment and can make smart editorial and technical decisions quickly.
You enjoy collaborating across teams and experimenting with new formats.
Ability to debate and willing to look at multiple points of view on a subject.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications, Media Production, or a related field with a digital focus.
Strong technical proficiency with live streaming workflows, including video switching, live publishing, clipping, and distribution.

Hands-on experience with video editing tools and production software, Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $95,000.00-135,000.00 annually.

Collaborate with newsroom, digital, social, and production teams to align coverage, workflows, and priorities across platforms.
