Responsibilities
- Design and Develop Support Systems related to the manufacturing of Solid Rocket Motors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of engineering experience, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical system design and hands-on fabrication or assembly.
- Experience with P&ID creation and interpretation.
- Proficiency with CAD software (Siemens NX, SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or equivalent).
- Proven ability to generate clear technical documentation, work instructions, and SOPs.
- Strong capability in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using software such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar.
- Familiar with design, specification, and integration of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical subsystems.
- Self-starter with excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience managing projects through complete product lifecycles is highly preferred.
Nice to have
- Prior experience with rocket propulsion or energetics manufacturing.
- Knowledge of controls, automation, and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with quality systems such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.

Compensation
- Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $110,000 - $136,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
