About the role

This role requires someone who thinks about data as a product, ensuring data is reliable, accessible, and structured to enable self-service analytics across the organization
As an Andelan, you'll serve as a role model for the rest of the company.

Proactively identify analytical opportunities before stakeholders ask-hunt for insights that drive action
Design and lead experiments, A/B tests, and pilots with clear success metrics and measurement frameworks
Deliver insights with clear recommendations and next steps, not just data summaries
Build dashboards, reports, and analytical frameworks that enable ongoing business monitoring
Develop forecasting and predictive models to support strategic planning and resource allocation
Synthesize complex data into compelling narratives that drive stakeholder action
Partner with business teams to design experiments that test new strategies, products, or processes
Analyze experiment results with statistical rigor and deliver clear go/no-go recommendations

Required Experience & Skills
4-7 years in business intelligence, data analytics, or related analytical role
Advanced SQL skills with ability to structure complex analyses independently
Strong proficiency with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
Proficiency in R or Python for automated data processing, statistical modeling, and advanced visualization
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
Exceptional communication skills-ability to tell compelling stories with data
Deep understanding of statistical concepts and experimental design
You don't wait for assignments; you proactively identify problems worth solving
You think from first principles and challenge assumptions in pursuit of truth
You're comfortable with ambiguity and can structure unstructured problems
You balance analytical rigor with pragmatic business judgment
You demonstrate high ownership and follow-through on all commitments
Bachelor's degree in quantitative field; advanced degree preferred
