Bachelor degree in nursing
The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
Experience in curriculum development

Faculty assigned less than 5 credits: Per credit rate of $775 - $1650.
Faculty assigned 5 or more credits total: $43,067 - $96,601 Annually (Based upon 1.0 FTE of 30 credits per years.
Pay will be prorated, based upon credit load).
Salary placement is determined on the basis of education and experience and in accordance with the 2025 - 2027 MSCF Contract, and conducted by the Minnesota State System Office.
Initial placement is limited to the step range permitted for new faculty under the MSCF salary schedule.

Recent acute care medical surgical nursing experience or long term care experience
Understanding of holistic health and healing principles
Higher education teaching experience with diverse student populations
Experience with learning communities or team teaching
Experience developing and using student centered, active and experiential learning strategies
Experience assessing student academic achievement of campus wide and classroom learning outcomes
Experience with accelerated adult learning
