About the role

  • Principle Accountabilities/Key Duties: Know and adhere to all area safe practices and company policies to include GMP standards.
  • Operate robotic palletizing machines and wrappers, ensuring cases are properly stacked according to product work orders.
  • Know and understand automated sequences of the palletizer system.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Preventive maintenance on the equipment as needed.
  • Able to perform operational fault recovery tasks.

Requirements

  • Proven mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory systems.
  • Ability to work multiple shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Lift truck Certification Competencies: Must be able to lift to 40 pounds on a periodic basis.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce.
  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent GED from an accredited department of education. One-year forklift experience. Proven mechanical aptitude. Basic understanding of hand tools. Basic computer system knowledge. Basic knowledge of inventory systems. Solid math skills. Ability to work multiple shifts and overtime as needed. Ability to work well under pressure. Preferred: Know and understand Finished Goods case quality requirements and know how to handle off quality product. Lift truck Certification Competencies: Must be able to lift to 40 pounds on a periodic basis. Good organizational and time-management skills
