About the role
- The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's general accounting operations, financial reporting processes, and month-end close activities.
- The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical capabilities, and experience improving accounting processes.

Responsibilities
- Manage a team and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff to support team performance and professional growth.
- Partner with FP&A, tax, payroll, treasury, and operational teams on financial reporting and business initiatives.
- Support ERP system implementations, upgrades, and process optimization projects.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline is required or relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of Excel with the ability to work with a large volume of data in spreadsheets, with knowledge of formulas and advanced functions, like pivot tables is required
Nice to have
- CPA certification preferred
- Commercial Real Estate or other service industry experience is preferred
- Experience leading a team is strongly preferred
- Experience with ERP systems such as Yardi and Workday is a plus
