About the role

  • Pay range: - Hourly $24.95 - $36.91 Overlake Medical Center is currently seeking an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) for our Bellevue Campus Emergency Department.
  • The ED Tech provides direct patient care to patients and their families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

  • May also perform waived and moderately complex point of care testing and associated quality activities outlined in protocol and procedures; obtain blood samples from patients, transport sample and other potentially biohazardous specimen for point of care.

Requirements

  • Requires one of the following active licensures upon hire: Washington State Nursing Assistant - Certified (NA-C) required or will consider Washington State Nursing Assistant Registered (NA-R).
  • Knowledge and handling of hospital equipment and record keeping.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in the English language

Nice to have

  • Computer familiarity is preferred.

Compensation

  • Part Time (.6 FTE - 48 hours per two-week pay period)
