About the role
- This role works closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams to enhance network security, reduce risk, and enable secure access across on-premises and cloud environments while ensuring reliable and efficient network operations.
Responsibilities
- Provides the operational management, design, development, and support of the Nationwide Children's Hospital Cyber Security technology stack, processes, and infrastructure.
- Serves as an escalation point for operational issues related to the Cyber Security infrastructure and processes, including occasional after-hours support.
- Develops training materials for primary support roles as well as system documentation, including DR plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent, required.
Skills
- Excellent customer service, communication (oral and written), troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic project management skills including ability to gather business requirements.
- Understanding of compliance (HIPAA, FISMA, PCI) and its influence on security technologies.
- grasping, gripping, turning, Hearing acuity, Interpreting Data, Problem solving, Repetitive hand/arm use, Seeing - Far/near, Sitting
- Experience with networking system administration or network monitoring.
- Experience in Healthcare and/or Cyber Security Operations (CSOC) environments highly preferred.
