About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of proposal and interview materials.
  • Help ensure that written communications are consistent in design and tone and follow company guidelines.
  • Maintain open lines of communication and respond promptly to all inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with technical staff to support marketing efforts.
  • Performs QA/QC review of proposal and interview materials.
  • Provide backup support for web materials.
  • Provide backup support to the Marketing Manager relative to RFQ/RFP opportunities.
  • Perform market research on industry trends as requested.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • + 2 years' proposal or marketing experience, preferably with an AEC firm.
  • Ability to pick up new procedures and put them into practice.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with a good understanding of the time critical nature of proposals and other marketing tasks.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat)
  • Ability to interact professionally and productively with staff of all levels, including firm leadership.
  • Must be comfortable interfacing with employees, clients, and vendors throughout all levels of the organization.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, editing, and production skills.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, editing, and document production skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Visually literate with strong verbal and visual communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the proposal process is a plus.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position is $75,000. - $80,000. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location.
