About the role
- The Senior Manager, Workday Systems & HR Technology is responsible for the strategic leadership, administration, governance, optimization, and continuous improvement of the organization's Workday platform and HR technology ecosystem.
- This role serves as the primary owner of Workday, ensuring system effectiveness, data integrity, operational excellence, and alignment with business objectives across all Human Capital Management functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the administration, configuration, governance, and optimization of Workday across all HCM functions.
- Establish standards, procedures, and documentation for system administration and operational support.
- Develop and execute the Workday roadmap in alignment with organizational and HR strategic priorities.
- Evaluate new Workday functionality and recommend solutions that support business objectives.
- Lead system enhancements, implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
- Lead the development and maintenance of Workday reports, dashboards, scorecards, and workforce analytics.
- Deliver actionable insights and metrics that support organizational planning and decision-making.
Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience partnering with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions and operational improvements.
Nice to have
- 7+ years of progressive HRIS, Workday, or HR technology experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Workday.
- Experience leading Workday initiatives involving configuration, reporting, security, integrations, and process optimization.
- Leadership or people management experience.
- Workday certifications preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

- Advanced knowledge of Workday administration, configuration, security, reporting, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and HR technology best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven project management and change management capabilities.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
- Serve as the primary owner and subject matter expert for the Workday platform and related HR technologies.
- Ensure system performance, data integrity, business process effectiveness, and a positive user experience.
- Provide strategic guidance on Workday capabilities, best practices, and future-state solutions.
Compensation
- $120,500-142,500
- This role is eligible for a base salary within the posted range.
- Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, and geographic location.
- Compensation may vary for positions based in high cost-of-labor markets.
