About the role

  • The minimum Head Coach rate for this role is $4,500 per season.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects, areas, and components of the eSports teams. Coordinate all strategic aspects of the eSports program.
  • Manage all official team communication channels (ex. Discord, social media, etc.) to ensure proper conduct and compliance with university procedures and expectations,
  • Actively and intentionally cultivating a diverse and culturally competent institution where each member has the opportunity and support to reach their full potential and make contributions to our campus community and beyond is Inclusive Excellence at Wentworth.

  • In conjunction with the Director, the head coach will manage the team rosters, manage and oversee official team communication channels, and manage student conduct and eligibility requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year of playing/coaching experience at a competitive level.
  • Knowledge of Skill Development.
  • Working knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of eSports and ability to apply in varied situations.
  • Periodic training will be required.

Nice to have

  • Previous playing or coaching experience.
  • Skill development experience.
  • Working knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures and ability to use in varied situations.
